Who are we and why are we renovating an old, ridiculously tall house instead of buying something nice and modern in a nice development somewhere just outside of town?
We are Chris, Heather, Bella and Sophie. And we’re doing this because we love old houses and we love living in town. We’re freaky that way.

I used to love old houses too. I owned two and I can appreciate your undertaking. I wish you all the luck in the world. May your wall paper come off easy, may your wood not suffer from dry rot and may all your coners be square. (Except for those that are round.) I’m looking forward to watching the progress during my first months of retirement.

Yes, Jessie! It’s almost done and we’re living there, but I haven’t updated in, oh, forever … I will remedy that, though. I promise!
